L. Route the media back into the printer and around the media core (as shown below)

then tape the leading edge to the media core. Rotate the Hub by hand to take up any

slack in the media. There should be at least two or three full wraps of the media on the

empty core before starting printing to ensure tight rewinded rolls.

M. Enter the menu, go to ADVANCED/PRINTER/OPTIONS/REWINDER. The rewinder is

designed to rewind in either direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) but this direction

must be set; enable your desired direction.

You may also increase tension to accommodate different media materials or to obtain a

tighter core. Also, increasing tension can help peel aggressive adhesives.

Save the settings by pressing the Home icon. The rewinder will turn slowly for about 30

seconds to tension the material and afterward rotate as labels are advanced.

Note: Either the peel plate or the rewinder plate must be installed.
